How ABLabs Built Organic Growth in a Regulated Category

ABLabs is a US-based ecommerce brand selling Methylene Blue and Fenbendazole, sold for research purposes only at the time of the engagement, in a category where Google Ads is blocked by policy. Over six months, January to July 2026, we rebuilt the site and grew organic traffic from roughly 400 visitors a month to 1,659, with no paid spend and full EEAT discipline for a regulated category. Every ranking and link was earned, not bought, because paid search was never an option.

  • 175 organic keywords ranking, with an average Search Console position of 11.1

ABLabs operates in a regulated research chemicals category where Google Ads is blocked by policy and every claim requires EEAT discipline. Before this engagement, the site was a single landing page with no ecommerce structure, near-zero backlink profile, and no presence in ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews or Gemini. Organic search and AI-driven discovery were the only viable acquisition channels, and neither had been unlocked.

Our Approach

Rebuilding the Site as a Foundation, Not a Brochure

The starting point was one landing page with no ecommerce structure. We rebuilt the site as a full ecommerce experience designed for both users and search engines. Category hierarchy reflected topical depth, product schema was applied across the catalogue, canonicalisation covered filters and pagination, and Core Web Vitals were brought inside Google's thresholds. Merchant Listings were validated to 64 valid feeds with zero critical errors.

Building Topical Authority Through Content, Not Keywords

Rather than target isolated keywords, we mapped entities and built topic clusters around Methylene Blue, Fenbendazole and adjacent research topics. Every page served a defined role in the ecosystem: commercial pages for purchase intent, educational articles for research questions, comparison pages for mid-funnel queries, and a knowledge hub to bind the network together. Every claim was referenced. At the time, the range was sold for research only, so there was no therapeutic language, no persuasion, no filler.

Earning Trust for AI Search and Regulated Category EEAT

In a health-adjacent category, EEAT is not optional. Falling short risks deindexation, not just lower rankings. We built author pages with verifiable credentials, made research-only positioning explicit on every relevant page, as the range was sold at the time, and pursued editorial links from genuinely relevant publications rather than volume. The same discipline positioned the brand for AI search through structured data, entity clarity and AI-readable formatting, which produced 28 cited pages and 9 confirmed ChatGPT orders in a single month.
